How do I know if I am a recognized student organization?
Visit Boise State Campus Groups website and search for your group’s name. If your name pops up and says “Student Organization” on it, then you are a recognized student organization.

Fundraising Opportunities
ASBSU Funding Board
Each recognized student organization is eligible to receive up to $4,000 in direct grant funding and up to $6,000 in joint grant funding from the ASBSU Funding Board each year. These funds can be used towards travel, professional development, events, food, and much more!

Student Philanthropy Board Grant Program
The Student Philanthropy Board Grant Program offers grants to student organizations, individual students, and departments on campus who demonstrate a need for financial support for a philanthropy cause. Each year, $25,000 in grant money will be awarded to support the philanthropic efforts of various projects. Past grant recipients include Veterans Services for professional photography equipment to assist students making the transition from the military to university life and the Campus Clothing Closet which provides students with access to good quality, sustainable, and affirming clothing at no cost.

PonyUp Crowdfunding
PonyUp is the official crowdfunding option for Boise State student organizations and university departments. It brings awareness and funding to projects with a variety of needs and focuses around Boise State’s campus by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people online, through email, and social media. PonyUp can be used to fundraise for anything that continues to build our vibrant campus community! This can include professional development opportunities, events, travel, etc. PonyUp is a great way for students and departments to help offset costs.

Bronco Giving Day
The annual 36-hour fundraising challenge that strives to raise awareness of the impact that philanthropy has on Boise State’s campus. All student organizations and departments are encouraged to participate. The seventh annual Bronco Giving Day will be February 26th and 27th, 2025.
